"In 2007, I was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer. I underwent treatment for six months and was fine until May 2011 when I was surprised by the return of the disease. This time, I would have to undergo an autologous bone marrow transplant as the only alternative to survive. I was terrified by the idea of the transplant, even with all the information and explanations that the procedure is very safe and that thousands of people have been cured.
