Many years ago (so long ago that I can't remember exactly), but I remember that it was over 15 years ago, I started to have a chronic sore throat.
This pain bothered me a lot. It got worse in the winter and I also remember that I woke up almost every day with a sore throat. I even had difficulty swallowing.
In the worst phases, I felt pain all day long. I went to several specialists, some prescribed an anti-inflammatory, others prescribed natural remedies (propolis, honey, etc.). It never got better. The last time I went to the doctor, he said that it could be an allergy and asked me to cut out several foods from my diet (citrus fruits, milk, etc.). He prescribed an anti-allergy medication and another for stomach acidity. But none of that helped.
That's when I met Dr. Henrique Azevedo. I was taking my daughter to get treatment for stress (which improved 100%) and, one day, while talking to him, he told me about the various applications of hypnosis (including for pain without a physical cause). I was interested and decided to have a session.
The session was super calm, I was conscious the whole time, but with Dr. Henrique guiding me to relax and focus on that sore throat that had no cause and that bothered me so much.
Then the incredible thing happened: when I left the first session, I still felt a little bit of discomfort in my throat. But, as the days [and sessions] went by, the pain got less and less, until it disappeared completely!
It's been several months since I had the treatment and that annoying pain has completely disappeared. I've never felt any pain or discomfort again.
